Hello Anon. The builder graciously supplied that the backsplash is: “Pennsylvania Ledge Stone from Meshopin Stone Quarry (Purchased through Adirondack Natural Stone).” However, elsewhere they answered that it is “cladding silver quartzite, 4x16, Supplied by Best Tile.”  

Just FYI, the hood is faux painted stucco.
